Tony West, Director of Human Resources, is an accomplished HR professional with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, Tony served as Director of Human Resource Operations at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and under his tenure, this hotel won numerous awards such as Hotel of the Year, Host Best in Class – Associate Engagement, Best in Class- Revenue Year, Best in Class-Convention Hotels, and Best in Class- Georgia
In his role current role, Tony is responsible for implementing human resource management strategies that enable Trivium Hotel Group to recruit, train, and retain high performing and motivated team members. Tony specializes in employee relations policies, talent management, learning and development and he is passionate about counseling and inspiring our team members to excellence.
Joseph Thrash CEO - Hotel Operations
Co-founder of Trivium, Joseph is involved in development efforts, cultivates investor and financial partnerships and oversees financial performance of all Trivium Hotels.
Cheryl MacDonald Regional Controller
Cheryl manages the hotel accounting department for Trivium Hotel Management Group, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statement preparation and internal audit.

Co-founder of Trivium, Walker oversees development, construction and design for all Trivium hotels. Walker’s passion for history property repurposing and preservation, help to create the vision for each of our unique properties.
Bringing a wealth of experience in the real estate market, Joseph and Walker Thrash founded Trivium hotels to carry on their family legacy of real estate development, design and vision for innovation and profitability.
Sue McCormick President & COO
In her role as President & COO, Sue provides strategic leadership, operational and sales support to our unique collection of hotels. Sue’s depth of knowledge in various markets, strong focus on revenue generation, passion for developing successful teams and keen awareness and emphasis on the total guest experience, positions each hotel to reach optimum performance levels.
Bringing over 20 years of experience to Trivium Hotel Group, Sue most recently serviced as Vice President of Operations for HP Hotels. She has a proven track record of success as an AVP, Regional Director of Sales, General Manager and Director of Sales for various brands including Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental Hotel Group and Wyndham International.
